Saveeye+ Reader & Splitter for HAN

Electricity meter data can play an important role in a connected energy installation. It can help an EV charger respond to the household’s electricity use, provide information to an energy management system and allow you to follow your meter data through the Saveeye App. When these solutions all rely on the same HAN interface, however, a single communication port can become a limitation.

The Saveeye+ Reader & Splitter for HAN solves both requirements in one device. It reads data from a compatible electricity meter for monitoring while simultaneously splitting the HAN connection, allowing up to two additional devices to access the meter connection.

This means Saveeye+ can be part of the installation without preventing other compatible energy solutions from using the electricity meter’s HAN interface.

Designed for better Wi-Fi connectivity
The location of an electricity meter can make reliable wireless communication challenging. Meter cabinets and installation environments can reduce Wi-Fi coverage, particularly when the meter is located away from the home’s main Wi-Fi equipment.

For greater connectivity flexibility, the Saveeye+ Reader & Splitter for HAN supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi and is equipped with an external antenna. This makes it particularly useful in installations where the standard wireless signal may not provide sufficient coverage.
