The Saveeye Base & Remote package enables the use of Saveeye Base even if you don’t have a power outlet or WiFi right where your electricity meter is located.
Saveeye Remote is mounted on your electricity meter and is powered by a CR2032 battery. Saveeye Base is connected to a USB power supply somewhere nearby (within about 8 meters), where there is also WiFi coverage.
The Base then receives meter data from the Remote and ensures that the information is forwarded to your app.
REMEMBER, Saveeye Remote requires a Saveeye Base to be able to send data.
